Printing question

This just started when the leopard moved in. I print to a Konica-Minolta PagePro 1350W. It's not really a Mac printer, but it was free and came with a boatload of toner cartridges, so it's likely to stay.
Anyhow, starting with the upgrade, each time it finishes printing, it goes into error mode and has to be unplugged and restarted before it will print again. What is the most likely success path to fix this bug? thanks in advance!
