Primarily these days i am caught between being exhausted by all the silliness and the stupid energy I'm wasting over the impending death of MCF and the raft of choices available as a replacement, none of which actually is a replacement, and being fairly happy because they caught the two kids who murdered my friend last month. In our kitchen this morning we found our coffee maker had died in the night. As near as we can tell, this was due to a myocaffinated infarction brought on by the sudden upswing in brewing activity over the last few days. If it had some warning of the coming demand, it maybe would have been better prepared emotionally. The funeral is Tuesday, at the curb. I'll be surfing this morning for something stainless, with about a 15BAR pump in it. More later... Continue

Went to bed a little late last night spending time fiddling around here, adding the picture of my house to my profile page instead of warming up under the covers. What an idiot. About five after one my pager went off and I was dressed and in my 29º car going 90 in about 2, maybe 3 minutes. The call was for an MVA with entrapment at the western edge of the township. I said that in Canadian, to be fair to Marg, Max et al. Blogging I suppose is as egoistical as one can get without taking over a country and having statues put up all over of yourself. Kate and Michael inspired me to decorate. I know it's a little loud, but I didn't want to do the same thing that they did (they'd know I copied them!) so I went with red. Kinda interesting, though my first choices probably would have been blue or green. Interesting what staring at red will do to your color vision. For example, the gray "MacCentral Badge" looks slightly green! Well, this is going to be ONgoing, so I'll change it from time to time. Maybe add videos or something. Kinda neat seeing… Continue

So, here I am at MacCentral Cafe, but I can't figure out what the hell is going on. Too much noise. I'm sure that in time the white noise will blend into the background, but at the moment I can't tell what's noise and what's content.
