I said that in Canadian, to be fair to Marg, Max et al. Blogging I suppose is as egoistical as one can get without taking over a country and having statues put up all over of yourself. And most of the guys in recent history to do that were ugly enough that there really shouldn't have been many reminders of their appearance. You wouldn't call Joe Stalin a good looking guy, would you? This is a hat trick here - Leopard, MacCentral Cafe, and a Blog, all in a week. That's enough to leave a pc guy in the dust, isn't it? I mentioned earlier in a comment I left over at Donna's that I felt the MCF was similar to when I was in high school, and afterwards we'd all go uptown and stand around on Palmer Square and solve the troubles of the world. Some would break off and go into Renwick's for a cheeseburger and a coke, while others would go across the street to the university to find an obscure spot to smoke a bowl. But mostly, we milled about on the Square, in conversation. Now we have the Cafe, and we each get our own page where we can put up things about ourselves, and choose colors, like we'd choose drapes and sofas, and we can go visit over at the other guy's page, and it's as if we've grown up and all got our own places now. There isn't as much chat about Hendrix, or carburetors, on the Square anymore. We don't go to Renwick's in groups, but we go to someone's place and leave a comment and look at their pictures. This is a very thorough compliment to MCF, and a very able successor, if that's what is to be. I don't expect to become the great blogger of the world anytime soon. I think Shooshie is the village orator, and that's fine with me, but if folks drop by, I'm sure I'll come up with something.
